Welcometo Zebra Guest House Lephalale

 

Zebra Guest House in Lephalale (Ellisras) was established in 2004 and is situated at 9 Peter Mokaba Street (Knoppiesdoringweg), Onverwacht, Lephalale, South Africa.

Lephalale is richly blessed with indigenous bush and wildlife, and is therefore sought after as a hunting area, offering many amenities catering for trophy as well as biltong hunting. The area around Lephalale offers wonderful game viewing experiences, including the Big 5. Farm holidays and sports-tourism (particularly golf) are very popular in Lephalale. Annual events include the D'Nyala Bushveld 4x4 Marathon and a cycling race in May and the Bushveld Festival in July.

Lephalale Zebra Guest House is central to the Mines, Power stations (Medupi and Matimba) and Business area of Lephalale.
The golf club, gym, swimming pool and sport club are within walking distance.
The Mall, 2 Shopping centers with chain stores, restaurants, Telly banks, medical and other services are close-by (walking distance).

History

Zebra Guest house was established in 2004. At the time it could accommodate 8 persons on a bed basis only.

By 2006 Zebra Guest house registered as a Guest house and could now accommodate 20 guests (10 Rooms) on a Bed & Breakfast basis.

In 2008 Zebra Guest starting catering for packed lunches and dinners on request.

In February 2014 Lephalale Zebra Guest House received Three Star grading in the Bed & Breakfast category with 10 rooms that could accommodate 20 persons.

In August 2014 a second location was added Boerboon Guest house. Another 10 rooms that can accommodate 18 persons on a Bed & Breakfast basis.

Zebra Guest House - Current Services

Lephalale Zebra Guest house can accommodate 22 persons of which all rooms (11 Three Star rooms) have private shower and toilet facilities.

Rooms are equipped with a TV with open view, Air-conditioning, Refrigerator, Microwave oven, Kettle and Private entrances.

Accommodation is on a Bed and Breakfast (continental) basis. Dinner and beverages available on request.

Laundry can be done on request or you can use the facilities to do your own laundry.

Secure off-street parking is provided.

There is a lapa with braai facilities. Zebra Guest house also offers conference and functions venue.

Wi-Fi is available.

Boerboon Guest House - Current Services

Boerboon Guest house can accommodate 22 persons of which all rooms (11 rooms) have private shower and toilet facilities.

Rooms are equipped with a TV with open view, Air-conditioning, Refrigerator, Microwave oven, Kettle and Private entrances.

Accommodation is on a Bed and Breakfast (continental) basis with dinner and beverages available on request.

Laundry can be done on request or you can use the facilities to do your own laundry.

Secure off-street parking is provided.

Mama Tau

To the West of Limpopo region, nestled in the deep heart of the Waterberg bushveld, Mama Tau is a hilly private reserve of 3.000 hectares offering stunning views on the bush, and sheltering a wide range of bird species

Doorndraai Nature Reserve

Around and below the Doorndraai Dam is a range of grassland types and more open savannah biospheres. Wall, rock and riverine habitats occur.

Mokolo Dam

Mokolo Dam into which the Mokolo River flows, is fairly massive and water enthusiasts, campers, anglers and birders

Mogol Country Club

Well known for being an excellent winter course, Mogol Golf Course offers golfers a demanding 72 par 18-hole course. Featuring lovely big Marula trees sometimes called sky bunkers, the magnificent 6077 meter course demands precision and meticulousness technique. Ingenuously designed, Mogol Golf Course winds through the suburb of Onverwacht enabling golf enthusiasts the convenience of not having to leave town to play a few rounds.

Grootwater 4x4 Trail

Comprises a variety of short routes totaling 23 km. The trail is located on the banks of the Poer-se-Loop River in the Waterberg. If you tackle all the trails, you should complete them in about 4 hours. The various trails offer different challenges from rocky terrain to some mud during the rainy season. The grading for these trails varies from 1 to 5. A low range vehicle with high clearance is required. The best about the Grootwater Trail is that you can break from your adventures and have a quick braai – in the designated area. An entrance fee is charged.

Corne du Plessis Horse Safaris

CDP Safaris, established in 2002, is owned and managed by Corne Du Plessis who is a licensed Professional Hunter and Guide in both S.A. and Botswana. He is also a keen horseman. Corne started conducting safaris in 1998. He spent 6 years in Botswana's Okavango Delta conducting Hunting Safaris and Safaris on Horseback. CDP offers you:- Hunting Safaris (Plains- and Big game)- Photographic and Touring Safaris- Wing Shooting- Option to do above on Horseback
