Woodlands Stop Over & Lodge offers Self Catering Accommodation and Camping in Francistown, Botswana and is situated on the site of the old “Hunters’ Road” overlooking the Tati River (10km North of Francistown) just off the Nata/Maun/Kasane A3 route. Travelling time is approximately 7 hours from Pretoria South Africa, 5 hours from Maun Botswana and 5 hours from Kasane Botswana.

Woodlands Cottage
Our luxurious 2-bedroomed cottage is fully equipped for the self-catering traveller. It is nestled amongst the trees along the beautiful banks of the Tati River.
The full length veranda offers space and privacy. It overlooks a secluded, private braai area with the river visible behind.
Rhodesian teak furniture and local art pieces create a warm and homely atmosphere. A feature area is the attractive fireplace for the chilly winter nights.
Facilities
The spacious, fully kitted, kitchen will delight the caterer and family alike with a fridge, stove and microwave as in your home.
The two separate bedrooms each have two single beds and their own bathroom en-suite.
Clean crisp linen is provided.
A breakfast basket is available on request whilst a complimentary tea & coffee station is provided.
Riverview Rooms
Our Riverview rooms, which all overlook the Tati River, are beautifully furnished and decorated.
Comfortable 3/4 beds with fresh, crisp linen and clean en-suite facilities are gratefully appreciated after a long journey.

A breakfast basket is available on request whilst tea & coffee is provided in the room.
Exclusive Cabin Camping
It’s your first night in or last night out of Botswana and you don’t want to unpack your carefully arranged camper – take an Exclusive Cabin Camping Site.
You will be able to park on a private site with an adjacent cabin that will be for your private use.
The cabin has two mattresses on built in beds but no linen.
Each site has its own power and water point, lovely braai area, and circular fire pit.
However, you would still make use of the communal ablution with the rest of the guests in the campsite for that night.
In summary:The use of an exclusive cabin for comfort and ease, no need to unpack your trailer
No ablutions in the cabin, meet new friends in the ablution facilities!
Camp Site
INDIVIDUAL CAMP SITES, each with their own braai areas.
Enjoy hot showers in our spacious tiled ablution block.
Meals and Services
Delicious pre-prepared meals, “Mike’s Meals”, are available from the reception and can be warmed in your own kitchen for your enjoyment when ready.
Proudly Botswana meat BRAAI PACKS are also available from the reception office.
