Known as the “place of quiet” the lodge is nestled in lush bushveld where the roar of the lion can be heard for miles around. Ukutula is conveniently situated within an hour’s drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. The reserve comprises 260 hectares of unspoiled bushveld boasting a variety of wildlife species, including predator and antelope species, giraffe, zebra, and more. Ukutula is also home to more than 130 different bird species.

These beautiful self-catering chalets sleep 3 people per chalet and include an open-plan bedroom, fully equipped kitchenette, a private bathroom with a shower, plus a communal braai and pool area.

Spacious self-catering chalets, offering accommodation to 4 people per chalet. Each family unit has one bedroom, a loft room, a private braai area, shaded parking, and a communal pool.
Family Units: 6 Bed Chalets (sleeps 6/chalet)
Spacious self-catering chalets, offering accommodation to 6 people per chalet. Each family unit has two bedrooms, a bathroom, an open-plan kitchen and dining area, a lounge, a private braai area, shaded parking, and a communal pool.
Volunteer Rooms & Dormitories (school groups)
Beautiful open-plan volunteer rooms with kitchenette and separate bathroom. There are 3 wooden dormitories – each sleeping 80 people, a separate staff room, and an ablution block.
Primo Chalets
These beautiful self-catering chalets sleep 3 people per chalet and include:
One bedroom, fully equipped kitchenette, and a private bathroom with a shower. with a communal braai and pool area.
Family Units
