Sepelong Game Farm – “Where the Heart is” In the heart of the jagged Free State landscape awaits one of nature’s best kept secrets: a treasure of a tranquil expanse of water and fresh air, companions to breath-taking sunsets as Africa bids her children good night each day.
It is a place of dreams, of resting and of re-energizing the heart and soul.
This is where animal roam freely in the riverine bush and grassy plains – at peace with man. Situated close to Theunissen between Welkom and Bloemfontein and within easy reach for visitors taking the (R708 – between Theunissen and Winburg), Sepelong Game Farm offers more than just accommodation in modern furnished log cabins with all conveniences at hand.
Sepelong offers something for everyone, be it nature photography, horse riding, bird watching, game viewing, learning more about farming activities or unwinding during sundowners. The Oss River slowly winds through the farm, following its course as it has done for millenia.
At home in the tourism and hospitality industry, it is also the ideal venue for MICE Tourism (Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing and Events), offering a customised outdoor package. The farm offers the ideal ‘time out’ to bring you in touch with your inner soul again. Peace and quiet are the two things you find first, entering through the main gate.
There are fully furnished, self-catering thatched log cabins with en-suite bathrooms, equipped with TVs. The conference facility also offers a restaurant and bar, should you prefer a caterer.
