Welcome To Sarah’s Place, A Warm And Welcoming Guesthouse Created With Love, Care And A Genuine Passion For Hospitality. Named After Our Beloved Daughter, Sarah-Lee, Sarah’s Place reflects the values she has taught us — compassion, patience, kindness and acceptance.
Our aim is to create a comfortable, non-judgmental and inclusive environment where every guest feels welcome, relaxed and at home.
Two Beautiful Locations
Sarah’s Place offers accommodation in George and Stilbaai, each providing its own unique experience.
Sarah’s Place – George
Conveniently Located In George, Our Guesthouse Offers A Peaceful Base Surrounded By Beautiful Mountain Views And Close To Many Of The Garden Route’s Attractions.
The property includes a spacious 300m² Manor House with three bedrooms, generous living areas, a modern open-plan kitchen, swimming pool, garden and secure garage parking. We also offer five comfortable studios, each with its own character and facilities.
Several studios feature private patios, mountain views, braai areas and pet-friendly spaces. Some studios can also be linked together, making them ideal for families or larger groups.
With the George Golf Club, hiking and mountain trails nearby, Sarah’s Place is perfectly positioned for both relaxation and adventure.
Comfortable Studios
Our George studios provide a range of accommodation options for couples, families and small groups.
Studio 1
A 30m² studio with a private entrance, mountain views and private patio. It accommodates up to three guests and is suitable for up to two small pets. Studio 1 can also be linked with Studio 2 for additional sleeping space.
Studio 2
A 30m² studio with a fenced garden area, perfect for guests travelling with small pets. Choose between a king-size bed or two single beds, with safe parking close to the room.
Studio 3
A 30m² studio featuring a private patio and braai area where guests can enjoy beautiful sunsets. It includes a queen-size bed, TV and convenient parking directly at the entrance.
Studio 4
A spacious 40m² family studio with a king-size bed or two singles, plus bunk beds. It opens onto the main garden and includes an outdoor seating and braai area with mountain views. Studio 4 can be linked with Studio 3 for larger families.
Studio 5
Our 45m² studio is attached to the main house and features a small open veranda, separate kitchen and en-suite shower. It offers a king-size bed or two single beds, plus bunk beds.
Manor House – George
The spacious 300m² Manor House can accommodate approximately 6–8 guests across three bedrooms.
Enjoy a large lounge, modern fully equipped open-plan kitchen, garden, swimming pool and inviting front porch overlooking the magnificent mountains.
The spacious garden includes a trampoline, while pets are welcome to enjoy the property. A garage provides secure parking with direct access into the house.
Sarah’s Place – Stilbaai
For guests looking for a peaceful coastal escape, our Stilbaai property offers a tranquil retreat overlooking the beautiful Skulpiesbaai ocean.
Set within a peaceful eco-estate where bucks and tortoises roam freely, the property provides a wonderful combination of nature, privacy and ocean views.
Take a stroll along the 1km wooden boardwalk to the beach, enjoy swimming and diving, or explore the scenic surroundings on longer walks towards Jongenstein.
Stilbaai Main House
Our spacious open-plan Main House features two large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, with additional rooms available to accommodate larger groups.
Relax in the comfortable lounge while enjoying beautiful ocean views, or spend time playing the piano. An indoor braai area makes entertaining possible throughout the year, while the main living area also includes a TV.
During the December holiday period, the entire property is available exclusively for groups of up to eight guests, providing complete privacy for your stay.
Stilbaai Annexes
The property also features two private bachelor-style annexes, each sleeping two guests.

These units are ideal for couples or guests wanting a little extra privacy.
Pet-Friendly Hospitality
At Sarah’s Place, we understand that pets are part of the family. Well-trained and well-behaved pets are welcome, with designated accommodation options available.
Our George property is also home to our friendly Border Collies, adding to the relaxed, homely atmosphere.
