Rustig
A well-established family farm run by the Oosthuizen family. From its Tobacco growing roots in the 1930s, the farm now specializes in cattle and game – and of course proving an idyllic escape from the nearby metropolises of Johannesburg and Pretoria.
With accommodation, amazing hiking trails, good food and a beautiful pool on offer, Rustig is ideal for families and corporates to enjoy some time away or for some team building. In addition, the upmarket wedding venue overlooking the beautiful gardens, make Rustig an ideal wedding destination.
Heritage House
The Heritage House was the original farmhouse on the Rustig farm. It has been declared a heritage site and to protect this status, no alterations are allowed to be made to the existing building. We kindly ask that you treat this lady with care when visiting. The Heritage House is used as a guest house and is not designed for fully functional self-catering purposes. The Heritage House has 3 bedrooms accommodating 6 people. The first 2 bedrooms feature double beds while the third features 2 single beds.
No children under the age of 13.
Breakfast is included in the accommodation and guests are welcome to bring their own food and snacks, bearing in mind that the kitchen facilities are limited. The kitchen consists of a fridge, microwave and limited cutlery and crockery. Therefore, should you need any additional utensils please arrange with management prior to arrival.
Lunch and Dinners from the Restaurant (At guest’s own expense)
As an alternative to the limited self-catering option, lunches can be ordered directly from Rustig’s restaurant menu, while dinners MUST BE PRE-ORDERED before arrival.
Dinner Options:
- Lasagne and a salad, malva pudding and custard, and jug of juice @ R200 pp
- Chicken curry and rice with pumpkin fritters, malva pudding and custard, and jug of juice @ R250 pp
- Build a burger (chicken or beef) with chips or side salad, malva pudding and custard, and jug of juice @ R150 pp

Stone House
The Stone House has a rustic appeal and is one of our oldest buildings on the property. It sleeps 4 in its 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom features a double bed while the second room a bunk bed. There is a small kitchenette and access to the ablution block is only a 5-7 meters away.
Accommodation includes access to hiking and swimming facilities.

R220.00 per person per night.
R100.00 per child under 12 years old per night. (Children under 2 years stay for free.)
