A Beautiful Historic Heritage House located in the small town of De Rust offering spacious accommodation in a beautiful setting with a “plaasdam swembad” for those hot days summer days.
The house accommodates up to 6 guests in the main house with two bedrooms and a separate “Casita” that is self contained that accommodates another 2 guests.
The house is open plan with the lounge and dining area following through the open plan kitchen and TV room creating a unique space for the family to enjoy.
There is an indoor fire place for cosy winter evenings which can be used as an indoor braai for cold wet evenings

Rus In De Rust is a beautiful 1920’s heritage house that has been lovingly restored and beautifully furnished offering spacious accommodation for up to 6 guests.
De Rust is a picturesque village at the foot of the Swartberg Mountain range and at the entrance to the world-famous Meiringspoort.
- The House comprises 2 spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has 2 x 3/4 beds.
- The “Casita” comprises of a self contained studio with a double bed en-suite shower and toilet and small kitchenette with fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities.
The house is open-plan, with the lounge and dining room leading into the open plan kitchen and TV room, creating a unique family room or entertaining space with a open plan fire place where you can enjoy a cosy fire OR have a indoor BBQ on rainy evenings.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery.
Both bedrooms and the living room opens onto a wraparound verandah where guests can sit and enjoy the stunning views over the town and mountains.
There is an indoor braai in the kitchen as well as an outdoor braai for guests to enjoy. A “plaasdam swembad” compliments the house where guests can cool down in the hot summer Karoo days.
