Situated in the foothills of the Free State’s Maluti Mountains, Clarens is also known as the Jewel of the Eastern Free State. Approximately midway between Gauteng and the Kwazulu Natal coast, the village is steeped in history and picturesque natural beauty.

There’s much to do and see in Clarens and its surrounds. From art galleries showing off the magnificent works of townsfolk to dinosaur fossils and multiple other activities for the whole family.

Accommodation in Clarens

Each room has a private entrance that opens onto a veranda, and a luxurious bathroom. We pride ourselves on the quality of our furnishings and linens and offer a deluxe hospitality tray with delectable treats in each room.
