Accommodation

Riverman Cabin features seven cozy self-catering country cottages, which include three stone cottages, three wooden cabins, and one brick cabin.

 

Each cabin is fully furnished and equipped to provide a comfortable self-catering experience. They all have open-plan layouts, complete with inviting indoor fireplaces and private outdoor braai areas, along with complimentary firewood provided for each night of your stay.

Please be aware: the roads can become slippery when wet. We suggest using vehicles with high ground clearance. Guests with low vehicles should exercise caution on the gravel road, as we are located in Tonteldoos, which is 30 kilometers of gravel road from Dullstroom (only 20 kilometers of gravel if you take the route via Middelburg/Stoffberg).

 

Pheasant Tail

Decorated in true country-style, this 2 Sleeper wooden cabin creates a homely atmosphere and perfect romantic weekend for two.

The cabin is Fully fenced off and pet friendly and suitable for small to Medium dog breeds.
The stunning view from the patio and the cosy fireplace makes for a perfectly romantic break-away weekend for two. Privately situated at the top of the farm overlooking our Trout dam.

Golden Cottage, known to be our romantic Cottage. Snuggle near the indoor fireplace, laze on the grass patch overlooking the pond just of your patio, have an intimate BBQ in your private Braai nook or simply enjoy a glass of wine on the patio gazing into the distance back drop of trees and abundance of bird life.

Fly-Inn Cottage is a quirky 3 sleeper and perfect for a couple travelling with a child.

Located in the Middle of the farm just off our Bass Pond, the cottage has a Queen bed in the bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a large sleeper couch in the living room near the fireplace and a well-equipped Kitchen with Gas hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer.

Brown Cabin


The real country retreat cottage and perfect for a family of 4, built from stone and thatch and situated on the edge of the pond, the living room opens up towards the back of the cottage to your private braai and outdoor dining area, the second sliding door opens directly onto the pond where you can enjoy bass fishing, spend the evening under the most amazing skies or enjoy the comforts of family around the fireplace.

 

The Brown Cottage is the perfect slow down from your hectic life and time away from the city buzz with family.

Wiggly Stone Cabin

Wigglystone Cabin is nothing less than the perfect Family weekend cabin. This wooden cabin is secluded and nestled away at the bottom of the farm. Private, pet friendly and full fencing suitable for small to large breed dogs.


A large deck with dining table overlooks the stream and back drop of large trees, Gaze into the midnight stars from our Star Gazer hammock bed.


Wigglystone has a Queen bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom, and a double sleeper couch in the living room, a separate bathroom with shower and well-equipped Kitchen with Stove and oven, Fridge /Freezer and Microwave and Outdoor Braai.

Rainbow Cottage:


Our Large family cottage - Where friends and families come together and meet to fill the air with laughter and create everlasting memories.

Enjoy the evenings on the large patio overlooking our Bass Pond and breath-taking views. Indoors meets you with a large and comfortable living area with recliner couches and an oversized Fireplace with two daybeds on either side. A large well-equipped kitchen with Stove and oven, Fridge / Freezer and additional bar fridge, dishwasher, and kitchen dining area.

 

Rainbow Cottage has two bedrooms downstairs with a separate full bathroom with bath and shower and separate toilet. Upstairs is another the Master with En-suite Bathroom, a loft room and additional bunk sleeping on the staircase landing, perfect for children.

DIE KOEKEPAN BOMA

Throw some meat on the braai and relax around the fire pit with a couple of friends at Die Koekepan boma. The boma has its own private bathrooms and a kitchen equipped with microwave, gas stove, fridge, cutlery & crockery and portable Bluetooth speaker.

 

The farm boasts luscious trees, streams running through the dams and bold mountains, all of which contribute to the unique variety of fauna and flora to be found in the area, including endangered species such as the Crane family, Oribi, Aardwolf and Arum Lilies. Get to the top of the koppies any way you like, just as long as you take the time to soak in the panoramic grandeur of your surroundings and enjoy a sundowner with the mountains fading into the horizon.

EVENTS VENUE

 

Our Multipurpose Mineview country centre is a large Open plan country  style log cabin fully equipped with Kitchen and bathroom facilities, catering equipment as well as a fully stocked bar with central fireplace for those cold days, this space can be transformed into a magical wedding Reception, Corporate business centre, party or events hosting, or on special occasions into a full restaurant seating 60 dining guests. Our Country centre overlooks our private driving range with breath-taking views on the beautiful mountain range in the horizon with ample parking available.  Our onsite seasonal bar is renowned for our infamous alcoholic slushies and the coldest Jägermeister’s in town. Booking is essential.

Bring along your golf clubs and test your skills at our Driving Range. Golf balls are charged at R40.00 per bucket (50 balls). We also have a small selection of clubs, for those who aren't regular players, but keen to give it a try.
