EXCLUSIVE CAMPING SPOTS
Camp Chloe and Camp Megan each provide two ablution blocks and four sites for caravans/camper-trailers on the river’s edge.
Camp Sites
There are three private group campsites: Camp Chloe, Camp Megan, and Camp Lielie, each featuring two ablution blocks and four caravan/camper-trailer sites along the river.
Following the 2024 flood, Camp Chloe is narrower. The campsites are fenced and pet-friendly, accommodating groups of any size without sharing facilities.
Amenities include hot wood-fired tubs, a small splash pool at Chloe, kitchen and covered braai areas, and solar power for an off-grid experience.
Rates cover the first eight guests, with additional charges for extra individuals. Each campsite offers:
- 2 showers, 2 toilets, 2 basins
- Freezer
- Grass area
- Hiking trail
- Coffee shop
- Alarm system with 24-hour armed response
- WIFI

A quaint little hide away in the Breede River valley. Pop into the River Edge Accommodation Farm Shop for freshly roasted coffee and decadent baked cheesecake or how about a lovely blueberry smoothie?
Each house as well as the camp site are stocked with 1 crate of wood. You can buy more wood from the shop R20 per bag. We also have ICE at the shop and other basic items.
We stock lovely gifts: Thandana bags, Mies products, Peppertree, scarves, hats etc.
Trading hours: Mondays and Fridays from 8:00 – 16:00, Tuesdays to Thursdays 8:00 - 13:00 and on Saturdays 08:30 till 13:30
