Welcome to Ria's Rest Accommodation
Ria's Rest Self Catering Cottage is a charming and eco-friendly unit located in the heart of Sedgefield, within the picturesque Sedgefield Island Conservancy. This unique ecosystem has been internationally recognized as a World Heritage Site, and is home to the endangered Knysna Seahorses, which breed in the vlei around the Island. We love having furry friends join in on the fun, so pets are welcome by arrangement!
Our Accommodation
Our solar-powered unit is designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay for up to 2 guests (and their furry companions!), featuring 2 single beds, a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet, an open-plan kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, toaster, induction plate, gas cooker, air fryer, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The unit extends to the dining area and further opens to the lounge with comfy chairs and a TV. Fibre is also available. Linen and towels are provided, so you and your pet can feel right at home!
Our Amenities
We offer a range of pet-friendly amenities to enhance your stay, including a lovely lawn where kids (and pets!) can play freely, a shared swimming pool on the owner's side of the property, tea and coffee, secure parking, Wi-Fi, a nearby laundromat, and of course, pets allowed by arrangement! We also provide loadshedding provisions and have a scenic view of "Cloud 9", an internationally recognized paragliding hangout. Our establishment is also wheelchair friendly.
