House Rules

Welcome to our Beach House, where good vibes meet common sense in our House Rules. We like to keep things simple and straightforward so everyone can soak up the sun and surf without a hitch. Whether you're a night owl or an early bird, a grill master or a sandcastle enthusiast, our rules are here to ensure everyone has a blast while respecting the slice of paradise we call home. From noise levels that won't wake the seagulls to keeping the beachfront clean and serene, it's all about creating a chill atmosphere that lets you unwind without any unnecessary drama. So, take a minute to skim through our House Rules – they're short, sweet, and geared towards making your stay as smooth as a wave gliding onto the shore. Let's keep it cool and make this beach house your home away from home!

Please read the following

Noise

Please keep the noise level down.

No loud music that allows our neighbours to join the party in their house.

Please be mindful, everyone is there to have a good time and enjoy their holiday.

Open Flames / Fires

No open flames or fires are allowed, even on the beach. The Beach House is built from wood and with a grass roof. All material just takes a small spark to set it alight.

So leave your pile of braai wood at home as you will not be able to use it.

We know that everyone likes a "Lekker Braai" so we have provided a good quality gas braai on the patio. So, do bring the big steaks.

Smoking

No smoking inside or on the patio. The beach house is a smoke-free zone.

For those who do smoke, please go outside and enjoy.

Please properly dispose of your cigarette buds.

Septic Tank

The house is equipped with a septic tank so please take note of the following. We are remote, so repairs are costly and not easily done.

Do not flush any chemicals or detergents down the drains.

Do not flush any sanitary products.

Please use water sparingly.

Please use 1 ply toilet paper.

Water

Our water is sourced from our own boreholes and is not treated. It is suitable for Tee, Coffee, Cooking and Cleaning.

If you have a sensitive stomach, then rather stick to bottled water for drinking.

General

Please notify us immediately if there is a problem. We have local support that will come and resolve the issue.

Please do not allow your children to use the cutlery and crockery for playing in the sand.

Please do not remove the furniture from the house for outside use.

Please note, the towels provided are only for bathroom use.

Motorcycles

No motorcycles or quad bikes are allowed inside the lodge boundaries.
