About Our Founder
Gerhard van Eeden — Founder of Prestige Cape Tours
Born and raised in the Western Cape, Gerhard van Eeden has spent a lifetime exploring the valleys, vineyards, mountains, coastlines and communities that make the Cape so special.
As a long-time Helderberg local, Gerhard has deep roots in the region and an authentic understanding of what makes the Western Cape unique.
With more than two decades of experience in hospitality, together with years of involvement in local sport, tourism and the community, Gerhard founded Prestige Cape Tours to share the Cape from a different perspective.
For Gerhard, tourism isn't about simply showing visitors the famous landmarks.
It's about sharing the places that locals love.
It's about introducing guests to hidden vineyards, peaceful coastal roads, beautiful golf courses, small-town charm, exceptional food and the stories behind the destinations.
