Phambuka Resort is a locally owned and run resort situated in the quiet bush on the southern out skirts of Ponta do Ouro.
Our location is accessible by all types of vehicles, including 4x4, 2x4, and small cars
Just about 2km from the busy village you can enjoy the relaxing natural environment that is safe and family friendly.
If you would love to enjoy a holiday in Ponta Do Ouro but don't want the craziness of the busy season this will be the perfect spot for you.
Phambuka Resort offers affordable beach front accommodation basic but clean and neat, the beach cottages have stunning sea views and the bush cottages, set back from the beach are a great budget option. There are an abundant number and variety of shady camp site, some are closer to the beach and other set back are closer to the pool.
All the sites have power points and there are several ablutions.
There is an on-site restaurant which has amazing views of the coast line and a beach access so you can enjoy the beach away from the crowds and the pool area has a picnic and braai space.
There are no microwaves or ovens are provided.

Phambuka resort has a stunning beach with 180 degree sea views from the beach cottages.
Its Ponta's best kept secret! At low tide there are small pools ideal for relaxing in and you can walk safely for kilometres.

- It is ideal for off road trailers and caravans.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING ALL YOUR OWN CAMPING GEAR INCLUDING TENTS AND APPLIANCES, WE DO NOT SUPPLY ANYTHING AND FRIDGE AND FREEZER SPACE IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE CAMP GROUND.
- The beach is approximately 300 meters away.
- It is approximately 200 meters from the swimming pool.
- There is access to the beach and use of viewing deck and terrace.

- It has an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with plenty of light and views.
- There is a private swimming pool and outside patio with a braai area.
- Please note in order to reach this cottage there is a long stair way so it is not suitable for anyone who has mobility problems.
