WELCOME TO PERDEHOEK!
WHY PERDEHOEK?
If you are looking for a classy and elegant wedding venue but one that will still be within your budget, Perdehoek Venue may be just what you are looking for. Or perhaps you want to host a conference or seminar or small function? Or maybe you just want to enjoy a quiet weekend getaway and spend some time on an actual working farm? Be sure to spend a few minutes to scroll through the pages of this website, as you may be surprised at what we have on offer.
Perdehoek Venue is a new, up-and-coming wedding and function venue situated 17 km outside Lichtenburg, North West on the Farm Doornhoek. We have hosted multiple weddings with great success and our name is spreading quickly, with more Mr&Mrs to-be’s contacting us for a viewing and booking their “I do” date on our schedule. We have also hosted various other functions, and many guests have spent happy nights in our Sleepover facility. Perdehoek Venue offers a rustic hall and facilities and green lawns throughout the year. The hall is 9m x 30m and can cater for up to 150 guests. The roof beams inside the hall have been adorned with white-warm fairy lights that create a warm and romantic atmosphere. The hall has its own kitchen and a separate serving area. The hall also has a lovely 3m x 9m patio on the eastern side with a beautiful waved roof. The patio opens up into the hall with stack doors, thereby enlarging the hosting space of the hall.
In addition, the venue has its own bar and various accommodation options to choose from. To top this all off, for weddings or special functions, the farm offers many opportunities to capture it all on camera. Photos can be taken in the garden, with the horses, in the veld (with more horses and cattle), among the bluegum trees, with the farm equipment and in one of the farmlands. If the above captures your attention and you would like to know more or visit us for a viewing, take a deeper look at this website and contact us.
Our contact details appear at the footer of each page, or visit the Contact page.

WEDDINGS, WEDDINGS, WEDDINGS!
Aren’t weddings simply some of the most amazing, breathtaking and splendid events ever! Weddings truly are something special. Weddings bring people together. At weddings, people who seldom see each other have the chance to meet up again and celebrate together, perhaps this time uniting in becoming part of the same family. Weddings resound with laughter and fun, dancing and celebrating, sharing in the joy and exhilaration of the bridal couple.
Most importantly, a wedding is an occurrence where two stories flow into one to create a new narrative, a union of two lives becoming one. At the time this union is created, perhaps many things may be uncertain or feel unreal, but as the two lives become one more and more and learn to give themselves to one another, a bond is created that can sustain the marriage through all kinds of trials and tribulations. This is worth all the celebrating, and this is why we want to make your starting day special for you.
This page is all about beautiful brides and their handsome bridegrooms as they celebrate their union. With this page, we just want to give you a taste of what joy and beauty we at Perdehoek have experienced with the weddings hosted here.
At Perdehoek, we endeavour to provide you with as many as possible options to make the preparation for your wedding and your wedding day as smooth-running and perfect as possible. The rustic wooden tables and iron chairs in the picture above are only some of the things that come with hiring the venue. Included are also chairs for guests to sit on outside before and during the wedding; two large wooden pallet screens; various tables for the cake, canape’s (starters), gifts and the DJ; and many decor possibilities to choose from. Each unit has its own toilet, but the units share showers in an outhouse outside. The units also have a shared kitchen, although each has its own bar fridge. In addition, two of the units are equipped to prepare food in if all units are occupied and the shared kitchen becomes crowded.

INTERIOR OF THE WOODEN HOMES. (EACH ONE VARIES)
Shared kitchen, outside and inside. Kitchen uses gas heater for warm water and gas for cooking.
Shared showers
There are two showers in this outside shower house. If the wooden homes are occupied by many guests, we also allow the guests to use the ablution facilities of the venue hall. These you can see in the photos below these ones. These wooden homes are in most cases occupied only by men. However, if a group books the wooden homes that consists of both men and women or boys and girls, we allocate certain facilities to the males and others to the females so as to avoid discomfort.
Venue ablution facilities
These facilities are mostly used by guests who use the venue hall for functions or weddings. However, when the wooden homes are fully or nearly fully occupied, we also allow those guests to use these facilities, although not at times when weddings or functions require these facilities. Included here are three separate toilets and two full bathrooms, each with toilet, basin and shower.
