A Childhood Dream Come True
Founded by Swiss architect Thomas Domenig, Omaruru Game Lodge was born out of a childhood passion for wildlife and conservation.
After traveling through Africa in search of the perfect location, Thomas and Marianne fell in love with the Namibian landscape and culture and settled in Omaruru.
Thomas and Marianne set their sights on developing a lodge that provided a unique and beautiful experience between humans and animals. Omaruru Game Lodge was born and welcomed its first guests in 1995.
Our Lodge
Surrounded by a diverse and unique wildlife reserve, our lodge features stylishly furnished bungalows, natural stone paths, and a waterhole restaurant where guests can witness the beauty of nature.

Wildlife and Birdlife
Omaruru Game Lodge is home to a wide variety of wildlife and birdlife, including elephants, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species such as blesbok, eland, impala, kudu, oryx, waterbuck, and springbuck.
Our game reserve offers a unique opportunity to observe these amazing animals in their natural habitat.
Game Drives
Embark on an exhilarating adventure with our experienced guides, exploring and observing wildlife in their natural habitat.
Daily game drives depart at 9 am and 3 pm, lasting between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the time spent during sightings.
Our game drives offer a unique opportunity to spot a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, white rhinos, hippos, and wildebeest.
