EXPERIENCE NAMIBIA


Namibia can be visited throughout the year. The climate is generally dry and pleasant.

The best time to view wildlife is in the dry season which runs from late March up to October.

The period from December to March will provide visitors with more luscious vegetation, and sometimes dry rivers can be seen flowing.


EXTRA INFORMATION


 
Vehicle collections and returns are daily until 15:00 only.

When planning your trip, please ensure you allow sufficient time between your arrival in Namibia and your vehicle collection.

Factors such as flight delays, customs clearance, baggage collection, and immigration queues can impact your arrival time.

To avoid unnecessary stress or delays in your rental handover, we recommend booking your vehicle collection for at least a day after your scheduled arrival, especially for international flights.

This helps ensure a smooth start to your journey and allows us to give you a full, unhurried vehicle handover and briefing.

Airport transfers are included when flight arrivals (before 15:00 deadline) and departures are on the same day as vehicle collection and drop off.


THINGS TO CONSIDER

  • Do not plan to leave for your first destination on the same day as arrival.
  • Do not return the vehicle on the same day if your flight is early morning.
  • Plan to be in Windhoek on the day of your departure flight already.
  • Road distances are long and unpredictable.
  • In case of delays by any circumstance Mufasa Car Rental does not accept liability for missing flights.
