Peace, Sea, and sun in a remote but reachable area are waiting for you.

Discover Mozambique's Hidden Gem: Lugar de Arvores T/A Maqueda

Located in the breathtaking, virtually untouched landscape of Calanga, our bush camp is situated between Macaneta and Bilene, just 90 km north of Maputo. It's the perfect location for a holiday getaway, with only a three-and-a-half-hour drive from the Lebombo border post at Komatipoort, South Africa.

To reach our camp, it's important to note that only 4x4 or diff-lock vehicles should be used as you'll drive through very sandy terrain en-route. It's also recommended that you deflate your tires to a maximum of 1 bar. Once you arrive, you'll be greeted by the cool shade of the trees that surround our camp.

From the camp, you can take a 900-meter walk to the beach or drive over the dune with your 4x4 as you're allowed to use a 4 km stretch of the beach for driving. With sunny skies, endless beaches, and clear waters teeming with marine life, Mozambique is the perfect beach holiday destination.
