About Us
Welcome to Machubo Beach Resort, a breathtaking destination located 80km north of Maputo and 36km north on the Macaneta Peninsula. Our resort is nestled right on the beach, offering stunning views of the Indian Ocean and direct access to 800m of pristine beach.
Our Unique Location
We're one of the few lodges situated directly on the beach, not behind a dune or a distance away. This unique location allows our guests to experience the ultimate beach getaway, with crystal-clear waters, exceptional shore angling, and unexplored reefs and dunes.

Casa na Duna
This 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom self catering holiday beach house has its own private splash pool and is 100m from the beach with magnificent sea views. Sleeping a minimum of 8 people and maximum 15 – 18 people. There are 4 double beds & 7 single beds. 3 single bed bunks in the living area. Large open plan, self-catering equipped kitchen/living area with 4 plate gas stove, fridge freezer facilities and a built-in braai. Patio doors opening up onto a stoep with private splash pool and magnificent beach and ocean views. This secluded and safe beach resort is ideal for the family break away or the adventurer.

Casa Chris
This 4 bedroom holiday home is ideal for the family break away and perfectly positioned for spectacular whale watching during July – Oct. Situated only 100m easy walking distance from the waves with sweeping views of the beach and ocean below. Direct beach access. This 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom self catering holiday home sleeps up to 14 people. Two bedrooms have a sea view with patio doors opening up onto a stoep area. Large open plan kitchen, dining, living area with a large built in braai and pizza oven next to a large family table with magnificent views. Very private and safe beach & secluded area. This secluded and safe beach resort is ideal for the family break away or the adventurer.

Casa Lagarto
This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom self catering sea view chalet is 120m from the beach. The main bedroom has a double bed with en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet & wash basin. The second bedroom has 3 x single beds with a second en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet & wash basin. There is a third smaller room with 2 x single beds. Self catering equipped kitchen with a 4 plate gas stove, fridge freezer facilities and a built-in braai with sea view.

One Bedroom Flatlet
This one bedroom self catering flat is all on one level from the entrance of the resort and has 1 x double bed & one single bed. Suitable for 2 adults and 1 child. It has an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet & wash basin. Self catering equipped kitchen with 2 plate gas stove, fridge freezer facilities and a large enclosed braai room with a built-in braai. No sea view. 100 m easy walking distance to shore. The flat is 10m away from the restaurant and bar and is attached to the main building which has full sea and beach views.

Casa Gazelle
This free-standing self catering house is situated 500m from the beach, surrounded by African bush where they Dyker roam free. This one bedroom holiday house can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children with 1 x double bed & 2 x single beds in the main bedroom and a 3rd single bed situated in the braai area. The bedroom has an en-suite shower & wash basin with a separate en-suite toilet. Kitchen is self catering equipped with a 2 plate gas stove, fridge freezer facilities and an indoor built-in braai.

Campsites
Each campsite has its own private neatly built bathroom, under roof camp kitchen wash up and working area and built in braai on your stand.
Campsites are accessible with 4×4 caravans and off-road trailers.
500W Power point allowed per site.
The resort makes use of a combination of solar and generator power for the exclusive use of the camp fridges.
There are solar lights in the campsites.

Watersports: Surfing, canoeing, sailing, jet-ski’s and boats are all welcome.
Open seas right in front of the resort.
We surf launch at low tide.
Fresh water available on the beach for pre-engine warm up and flushing afterwards.
No Quad bikes allowed on the resort.
