Koo Karoo Guest Lodge & Self-catering is centrally situated in the picturesque town of Montagu on the well-travelled Route 62.
The guesthouse offers self-catering options as well as room-only accommodation in the main house.
It consists of a 100-year-old Victorian house with large comfortable rooms, a self-catering cottage and an additional self-catering apartment.
The self-catering cottage was converted from its former use as a coach house, and it still boasts many of the original features, such as the barn doors and stone walls.
The cottage has a private entrance overlooking the small pool and garden.
The self-catering cottage is suitable for single occupants, couples, or a maximum of 4 people. It comprises 2 bedrooms furnished with a king-size bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the other bedroom.
It has a shared bathroom, accessed by a lockable door from each bedroom, that has a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The well-equipped kitchen has a gas stove, fridge, small freezer space, microwave, toaster, and kettle.
The self-catering apartment is ideal for single occupants, couples or small groups of 4.
The self-catering apartment comprises 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed, a single bed, as well as 2 single beds in the open-plan lounge, and its en suite bathroom is fitted with a bath and a separate shower cubicle.
The well-equipped kitchen has an oven, stove, fridge, small freezer space, microwave, toaster, and kettle, and the lounge area has a TV with a full guesthouse selection of DStv channels.
There are 3 en-suite bedrooms.
The first room is furnished with a king-size bed, the second room is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the third room has a king-size bed.
Other amenities in these rooms include a bar fridge, microwave, a TV with a full selection of DStv channels, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a private entrance.
Guests also have access to the main house's kitchen.
The lodge offers free Wi-Fi, and card facilities are available.
For guests' convenience, bedding and towels will be supplied.
There is also an inverter that supports the Wi-Fi, all TVs, and a light per unit during power outages.
