Kolobe Lodge gets its name from the Zulu word "kolobe", which means warthog.
Kolobe Lodge pays homage to the wildlife of the region and the cultural significance of the warthog in Zulu culture. Warthogs are a common sighting in the South African bush. These creatures are renowned for their toughness, resilience and resourcefulness. They are also symbols of strength and protection.
