A LITTLE HISTORY
This historic farmhouse was built in 1853 on the farm Klipspruit. The farm belonged to the Van Coller family.
The closest church then was in Kroonstad, which was obviously too far to travel to frequently.
The farmers in the area decided to establish a small town with their own church.
The farm Klipspruit was chosen as the site for the town as it had lovely river views.
This was the beginning of Parys, and all that remains of the farm is the original residence which has been perfectly and modernly restored.
ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION
Klipspruit was originally the farmhouse on the farm from which the town of Parys originated and now offers 6 rooms.
Dior has an en-suite bathroom and 2 single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed and a bathroom with a shower.
This unit has coffee-making facilities, a microwave, as well as TV with Netflix.
The room has access to the lovely garden.
Opium has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
This unit has coffee-making facilities.
Mademoiselle has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

Klipspruit Hoofhuis comprises 3 bedrooms.
The first room has a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has 2 single beds.
The shared bathroom is equipped with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.
There is also a guest toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, and kettle. microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and a separate scullery.
Klipspruit has a lovely garden with a lovely, protected braai area and parking is available behind the gates.
There is a safe area for children to play, and dogs are welcome with prior arrangements.
For added convenience, the house is equipped with water tanks, as well as a UPS power system, and a cleaning service is available on request at an additional cost.
Klipspruit is situated 550 m from the Vaal River, 1 km from the centre of town which offers various shops and restaurants, and 3 km from the Parys Golf Club.
Parys offers a variety of activities ranging from berry picking, river rafting, hiking and 4x4 trails, and guests can also visit the Vredefort Dome which is 15 km away.
