Nestled in the Southern foothills of the Magalies Mountain, surrounded by dense bush, lies Kareekloof Game Farm. It is host to a variety of functions and offers many activities to make your function unique.
The beauty of 1000ha of veld, and the cry of jackals as the sky darkens in an African sunset, makes any function memorable.
Office parties, family reunions, birthday parties, engagement parties – any occasion will be custom made. Weddings, conferences, competitions, courses, and bosberaad meetings have been successfully held at Kareekloof Game Farm. Our lodging facilities offers either fully equipped self-catering chalets or B&B services in our comfortable guest rooms.

DERBY BUSHVELD
The Derby bushveld stretches along the southern slopes of the Magalies Mountain range from Broederstroom in a westerly direction past Koster towards Swartruggens.
Our region forms the southern foothills of the Magaliesberg Mountain range and is therefore diverse in typography comprising beautiful hills, valleys, seasonal streams and natural springs.
This area teems with wildlife, with most mammals thriving here. Natural predators including leopard, brown hyena, caracal, serval etc. are spotted regularly.
OUR WATER
We are proud that we do not use municipal water, but only borehole water from our own boreholes.
The safety of our guests is very important to us, and our water is tested on a regular basis.

BUFFALO CHALET
This chalet has a fully equipped kitchen and en-suite bathroom with shower. It has a queen size bed, clean linen and towels as well as its own lapa and BBQ facility.
The swimming pool is 20 m away. Daily serviced and amenities are supplied.
The perfect get away chalet for a couple who wants to spend quality time together.

This is a cozy and comfortable chalet with shared bathroom with a bath and a shower. It consists of two separate rooms. One room has a double bed + 2 single beds in the other room and 3 single beds in the open plan area.
It has a fully equipped kitchen, lapa and BBQ facility. Clean and neat linen and towels are supplied. Daily serviced. It is about 70 m from the swimming pool and lodge where a public lounge with DSTV is. GAME DRIVES / NATURE DRIVES
Our game drives are very popular. We have a 1400ha game farm and 17 different species animals including giraffes, zebras, kudus, elands, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, impala, bless buck, water buck, bush buck, wart hogs, bush pigs, jackals, caracals, brown hyena and many more.
We also have a good and healthy bird population and it is a birdwatcher’s paradise.
The beauty of nature in all her glory is to be watched from our open safari vehicle.
A game drive is so much more than to just see animals, we also call it “Nature Drives”
Do not misreckon the small wildlife like dun beetle, different kinds of insects, hogs, snakes and many more.
The drives last for about 60 / 90 minutes and are either early in the morning or late afternoon.
Early morning nature drive: 6h30
Late afternoon Nature drive: 16h30
Cost: R1000 per drive (Confirm this amount with the front desk, for it changes from time to time)
(Not per person. If there is one person on the vehicle the price is R1000, If there are 9 people on the vehicle the price is R1000)
Drives are subjected to good weather conditions.

On this spot many prayers had been answered. Come and be quiet for a while at the foot of the cross.
