Established in 2009, Kapika Waterfall Lodge is named after the great Himba leader, Chief Kapika, as a tribute to his legacy. Our unique location on a hillside facing the Kunene River sets us apart from other lodges in Epupa, offering an unobstructed view of the river and its lush vegetation.
Accommodation
Our lodge features 10 spacious and comfortable chalets with en-suite shower, toilet, electricity, and mosquito nets.
Each chalet has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Kunene River, perfect for enjoying a private sundowner.
Twin Chalets
The comfortable en-suite (shower) chalets are very spacious with two single beds. They also have a beautiful terrace overlooking the Kunene River and your own balcony.
Each room has a cupboard, easy chairs & mosquito nets. A maximum of four guests can be accommodated in this unit.
Kapika Waterfall Campsite
Our lodge has 2 exclusive camping spots, each with their own shower, toilet, hand basin, sink and lighting.
Enjoy gorgeous views over the mountains as you sit around the fireplace, whilst the sun sets casting magical colours over the mountains.

- Campsites are suitable for 4 people
- Campsites do not have power points, but we can assist with power, should campers need it
