Situated just 1 hour from Johannesburg, this upmarket venue boasts state of the art conference facilities, a beautiful glass fronted function venue and lapa / pool area, overlooking the river and canyon. 16 fully air conditioned bed and breakfast rooms are available, all with panoramic views of the river and canyon.

We also have 1 x self catering house available, house No 11. Whether for a conference, company function or wedding you will be warmly welcomed into the Goose Bay family

 

We provide a Bed and Breakfast service for those special days, Anniversaries, Valentine’s Day or Birthdays.

Our glass fronted wedding venue seats up to 80 guests with the ceremony being held in a draped open air chapel area on the edge of the waterfront. Nestled on the banks of the Vaal river, Goose Bay Canyon offers you personal, caring attention for this, your wedding day. The majestic canyon and tranquil waters will surround you as you exchange vows to the cry of the great Fish Eagle.

Accommodation is provided in 16 twin en-suite rooms at Goose Bay and 2 x 3 bedroomed self catering units, whilst additional guests are accommodated within walking distance of our venue.
