Esperanza Lodge is located in the Inhambane Province of Mozambique. It is approximately 485 km north of Maputo capital and 26 km south of the town of Inhambane.
The chalets are situated on high dunes overlooking the Paindane Bay, ensuring a constant sea breeze from the Indian Ocean and a virtually mosquito-free environment.
This bay is protected by the Paindane Reef, creating a safe swimming area and unique snorkeling opportunities.
The bay also ensures a safe platform from which to launch boats both at high and low tides.

Beach Bar
The beach bar, “Cantina Esperanza“, is situated right on the beach and traditional Mozambican meals can be enjoyed while watching the whales and dolphins from the deck.
Diving
Esperanza Beach Resort will have new Dive operators as from December holidays. Info will be distributed soon.
With many world renamed reefs within easy striking distance, this spot is rated as one of the ten best worldwide.
The reefs named Manta Reef, Coral Gardens, Angler’s Alley and others, ensure an unforgettable diving experience.
Snorkeling
To experience the beauty of the underwater world in the bay, protected by the Paindane Reef, is a great attraction for the whole family.
The vast species of tropical fish is a must to be seen. Snorkeling trips can also be arranged through the dive centre.
Whale Watching
Whales and dolphins can be seen from your chalet or the Beach Bar. Organised trips can also be arranged through the reception office.

DEEP SEA FISHING
Excellent fishing opportunities exist a mere 200m from the Paindane Reef.
Cu-ta, Dora do, King fish and other species are regularly caught

Unique species have been noted and marked.
