At Downstream we provide a relaxing get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We also offer over night or mid week stays.
Downstream is a privately owned small holding comprising of 2 x four sleeper and 1 x three sleeper cottages (Hornbill, Kingfisher & Fish Eagle)
Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchenette and bathroom with shower.
Private braai facility at each cottage.
Baby camp cot( please provide own bedding) and stroller available on request.
Pets welcome with prior arrangement.
Main activities are bird watching(2nd most species in SA) fishing -yellow fish,barbel & bass. Picnics at the river.
There are hiking/mountain bike trails in the area, snorkling/scuba diving at the "OOG" for enthusiasts.
We at a 2-2.5 hr drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria on the N4 Platinum Highway North West between Rustenburg and Zeerust.
