Meet Your Hosts
Steffi
A proud third-generation Namibian, Steffi was born in Windhoek and spent much of her childhood in Swakopmund before moving to Otjiwarongo.
After studying Nature Conservation in Pretoria, she built a career as a guide, travelling extensively through Europe and North America while sharing her love of Namibia’s natural beauty with visitors.
Her years spent raising her family on a game and guest farm in north-western Namibia deepened her connection to nature and hospitality.
Today, Steffi combines her passion for hosting, guiding, and creating memorable guest experiences through her warm presence at Cornerstone Guesthouse.
Hobby
Born in 1964, Hobby studied at the Höhere Privat Schule in Windhoek before completing his MSc in Animal Husbandry in Pretoria.
His professional journey includes lecturing in Natural Resource Management at the Namibia Polytechnic, farming near Kamanjab, and building a successful career as a tour guide and tour operator.
In 2023, after years of experience in tourism and hospitality, Hobby and Steffi embraced the opportunity to take over Cornerstone Guesthouse.
His wealth of knowledge about Namibia, paired with his passion for sharing its beauty, adds exceptional value to every guest’s stay.
