About Us

The Clarens Log Cabin is a genuine Swiss-style log cabin that offers a cozy escape.

• The ground floor features an open-plan layout combining the lounge, dining, and kitchen areas.
• At the heart of the lounge, you’ll find a spacious wood-burning fireplace, perfect for warmth and ambiance.
• Next to the lounge is a generously sized bedroom equipped with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom that includes both a bath and a shower.
• A wrap-around veranda embraces the living spaces, allowing all rooms on this floor to seamlessly connect to the deck.

First Floor Overview

The staircase ascends to the first floor, where a welcoming loft area or study awaits you.

This loft overlooks the lounge and includes a desk with conveniently accessible plugs, along with a sleeper couch for accommodating an extra guest.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Just adjacent to this space is the second and smallest bedroom, furnished with a queen-size bed.

Across the hall, you will find a compact bathroom equipped with a shower. Further down the passage, another small bathroom with a shower is available.

Master Suite

The passage leads to the Master Suite, which features:

• An ante-room
• A walk-in closet
• A spacious bathroom with a spa bath and shower
• A separate WC
• A generously sized double-volume bedroom, complete with its own wood-burning fireplace and a private patio that offers breathtaking views of the mountain.

Amenities and Facilities

• DSTV, Wi-Fi, and braai facilities are at your disposal.
• All linen and towels are supplied, along with basic toiletries and dishwashing liquid.
• The kitchen comes equipped with standard appliances, including a kettle, toaster, microwave, and dishwasher.
• Additionally, laundry facilities are available, and our staff is more than happy to assist you.

Secure and Pet-Friendly Retreat with Exceptional Amenities

The entire property is secured with a 1.5m wooden palisade fence for both privacy and safety. The automated gate ensures easy access, and CCTV monitors the external areas, viewable from inside the house.

• Additional security is provided by exterior and interior beams
• An armed response company services the property.

Amenities include:

• One lock-up garage
• Secure off-street parking for up to three cars
• Mountain bikes available for guest use at no extra cost
• Firewood is also provided complimentary, and our staff is delighted to prepare the fireplaces or braai for you. A cleaning lady can be arranged upon request, allowing you to enjoy your stay without any hassle.

Lastly, we are a pet-friendly environment and warmly welcome well-behaved dogs by prior arrangement.
