At Cape Boat Charters, we're passionate about providing a safe and unique experience at sea for all our guests.

Our business owner and Skipper, Alan Blacklaws, is a registered tour guide with over 20 years of experience catching fish off Cape Point.

We're committed to being eco-friendly and encouraging the practice of "catch and release" to help conserve our marine resources.

Our Boat

Our boat, Destiny, is a 28ft GeCat MKII full walk-around design with a center cabin. She's equipped with the latest state-of-the-art fishing and navigation equipment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests.

Destiny undergoes regular safety inspections with SAMSA (South Africa Maritime Safety Authority) and is serviced frequently by qualified marine mechanics.

Fishing Equipment

We use only the best fishing tackle and equipment, including top brands like SHIMANO, PENN, and DAIWA.

Our rods and reels are serviced and replaced regularly to ensure that you have the best chance of landing a big catch. We also use Black Magic harnesses, which are essential for landing the larger tuna.
