Welcome to Blinkwatersrus, a holiday self-catering home situated in the beautiful Marloth Park, surrounded by bush, nature and a peaceful atmosphere.

On the banks of the Crocodile River, between Malelane and Komatipoort on the N4 national highway, Marloth Park is a wildlife sanctuary and holiday town.

It boasts four of the “BIG FIVE” with the exception of the elephant. Buffalo, rhino and lion are confined to Marloth’s game reserve “Lionspruit”; the rest of the game such as kudu, zebra, giraffe, blue wildebeest, nyala, impala, warthog, ostrich and others aren’t restricted by fences and roam freely between the homes.

Inside Marloth Park (3,000 hectares), the freedom of movement is remarkable.

Visitors can ride a bicycle or go for a walk on their own through the African bush. Movement is not confined to the housing units.

While walking along the Crocodile River, visitors can watch spectacular wildlife scenes in the adjacent Kruger National Park. Local restaurants, shops and a filling station are also easily accessible.

ACCOMMODATION

Blinkwatersrus is a lovely self-catering house in Marloth Park and is surrounded by trees and a peaceful atmosphere.

The house has 2 bedrooms with air conditioning and can sleep up to 8 guests. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. The second bedroom has a double bed and there are 2 more double beds in the open-plan top floor. These 2 beds are in tents to create some privacy. The second bathroom has a shower.

The lower floor has a kitchen that is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine, cutlery and crockery. There is also a counter seating 6 guests and leads to a lounge area.

The house has a spacious deck on the lower floor with a fire pit, patio furniture and a splash pool. Furthermore, guests can enjoy the pizza oven above the fire.

The top floor has 2 balconies on each side with comfortable outdoor furniture and is the perfect vantage point to view the animals that pass by.

HOUSE RULES:

Smoking is prohibited on the balconies. Guests can smoke outside at the braai area.
Guests must please make sure all fires are extinguished before going to bed.
Please keep the windows closed due to monkeys and baboons visiting.

Activities that can be arranged through the Marloth Park Website: Bush breakfast, Game drives inside Marloth as well as in the Kruger Park (You may do your own), Night Drives in Kruger National Park, Tiger fishing, Quad bikes, Mountain Bikes, Three Restaurants, Micro Light Flights, Elephant Rides, Mozambique Tours, Swazi Tours, horse riding, guided game walks and more. You can even arrange a game of golf inside the Kruger Park at Skukuza.

Lion sightings are also reported from time to time and elephants often visit the Crocodile River that forms the boundary to the Kruger National Park.

A variety of restaurants will cater for the hungry while two shops supply the self-catering guests.

In addition to this Marloth Park offers all the basic commodities such as a hardware store, curio shop, liquor store and more.
