About Us
Welcome to Believers Destiny Getaway, a luxury self-catering accommodation nestled in the beautiful countryside outside Swellendam. Our getaway is designed to provide a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for families, couples, and friends. We strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making you feel right at home.
Our Story
Believers Destiny Getaway was born out of a passion to create a unique and peaceful retreat where guests can unwind and connect with nature. Our owners, a husband-and-wife team, built the accommodation units themselves, using natural materials and sustainable practices. It took them little less than a year to build the first house, VLAKVARK, which opened for guests on 1 February 2017. Since then, we have added two more units, MEERKAT and BUSHCAT, each with its own unique charm and character.

We offer three unique accommodation options:
Vlakvark
Pet friendly by prior arrangement.
A child- and pet-friendly unit that sleeps up to 5 guests, with a private patio and wood-fired hot tub and a indoor fireplace. This unit is perfect for families or groups of friends who want to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Meerkat
A romantic log cabin that sleeps 2 guests, with a private patio and wood-fired hot tub and a indoor fireplace. This unit is ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat.
BushCat
Pet friendly by prior arrangement.
A luxury camping unit that sleeps 2 guests, with a private patio, braai facilities, and wood-fired hot tub. This unit is perfect for those who want to experience the thrill of camping without sacrificing comfort and luxury.

We are located about 25km outside Swellendam, in the direction of Heidelberg. Our GPS coordinates are -34.062272, 20.680733. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
