We're also home to a variety of wildlife, including zebra and wildebeest, which can often be spotted roaming freely in the area. We are also pet-friendly and have a play area for kids, along with a super tube. We aim to attract more families to enjoy our offerings.

Charming 4-Sleeper Unit with Four Single Beds
Nestled among the trees, this delightful unit offers a beautiful view of the dam. Relax on the lovely stoop and watch the world go by, or enjoy a braai beneath the trees. Featuring a thatched roof and large canvas windows, this fully equipped unit stays pleasantly cool on hot summer days. The boat launch is conveniently located just about 10 meters away, while the newly renovated shared shower and toilets are approximately 8 meters from your door. Experience peace and seclusion in this serene bay setting.
COOKIE:
Perfect for couples, it also includes a sleeper couch for a small child.
Cookie is the beloved chalet named after its founder, Jonathan Vermeulen, affectionately known as "Cookie" by his family. This fully equipped chalet is situated beneath a magnificent tree, featuring a built-in braai and a spacious stoop. It is approximately 10 meters from the main boat launch and just 8 meters from the pool area and playground.
Dam View:
A charming family chalet featuring a queen bed and two single beds.
This fully equipped accommodation boasts the added luxury of cotton bedding. Enjoy the delightful stoop with a built-in braai and bench. A standout feature is the outdoor bathroom, thoughtfully designed for both parents and children, allowing kids to access toilet facilities while mom enjoys a relaxing shower away from reach. It’s a wonderful experience to sip wine under the stars while showering, with the kids cozy in bed. The space is very private and airy, and a boat launch is conveniently located about 8 meters away.
HONEYMOON:
This unique unit features an outdoor shower, making it the first of its kind and perfect for a romantic getaway.
It is named after the Badger Honey, who adores the moon. This fully equipped unit boasts a thatched roof and large canvas windows for optimal cooling, complemented by spacious ceiling fans. It includes a generous stoop with a built-in braai and an awning for additional shade. Located approximately 30 meters from the boat launch, it offers stunning views of local zebras and wildebeests at night, along with a direct sightline to the dam. Enjoy the privacy and seclusion, as it is situated more than 30 meters away from neighboring units.

This unit features our signature outdoor shower and toilet, complete with a sliding door and curtain for added privacy. Enjoy stunning views of the dam from the comfort of your own stoop, shaded by a majestic tree. The thatched roof, canvas windows, and ceiling fan work together to keep the unit cool and comfortable. Fully equipped with modern amenities, including an on-demand gas geyser for constant hot water, this unit is perfect for a romantic getaway. The spacious stoop features a built-in braai and ample seating, ideal for relaxing and taking in the sights and sounds of the surrounding birdlife. While recommended for couples, additional beds can be accommodated for children or grandparents.

This house has a lovely garden which can enclose pets or exploring kids.
This unit boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Main bedroom has queen bed and room 2 and 3 has tri bucks which is a double and single onto. It has a lovely huge under roof braai area at the back of the house and a lovely stoop for dam view. Thatched unit for added cooling. Has does have aircon which adds to the cooling process. Unit is fully equipped with at least 2 car with boat parking space.
Treehouse:

Guests have access to camp ablutions, located approximately 5 meters away. It's conveniently situated near the beach entry pool and offers stunning views of the entire park and playground. Moms can relax with a novel while keeping an eye on the kids from their chalet. The unit includes a built-in braai and is close to the zebra and wildebeest crossing at night. It boasts a queen bed and three single beds, making it perfect for families with children.

This unit accommodates up to 8 guests with ease. It features a spacious kitchen, perfect for honing your culinary skills with ample room for chopping and preparing meals. The bathroom includes both a bath and a shower. Additionally, the unit is wheelchair accessible and pet-friendly, thanks to the enclosed private garden that boasts a large Lapa for relaxing during the day. Inside, you'll find generous ceiling fans throughout the house, as well as stunning views of the dam. The main room offers 6 single beds, complemented by 2 sleeper couches in the lounge.
Birdsnest:
This charming chalet is designed as a fully equipped retreat for couples seeking a romantic and tranquil escape.
It offers a view of the main beach entry pool, making it perfect for a night swim, as the pool is only about 8 meters away. Additionally, it features a built-in braai and a spacious, inviting stoop where you can relax and enjoy your evening cocktail.
WILLIE
Willie is the perfect place for a large family that wants to remain close but not necessarily share sleeping spaces.
It features five separate rooms, along with a shared kitchen and two bathrooms. Nestled under a canopy of trees, this unit boasts the finest garden in the entire resort, providing delightful shade.
Room 1: This thatched room includes a queen bed, making it ideal for couples.
Room 2: Perfect for parents, grandparents, and kids, this room comes with its own fridge and tea set.
Room 3: Tailored for teenagers, this room has two beds, a fridge for snacks, and a tea set.
Room 4: Designed for teenage boys, it features three single beds, a fridge, and a tea set.
Room 5: Great for fitness enthusiasts, this room has two single beds and requires a bit of stair climbing for a light workout.
The kitchen is fully equipped to accommodate at least 15 people, and there are braai facilities and benches in the garden, perfect for fishing groups. Parking and a boat plug-in are conveniently located just outside the yard, under the trees. The area is secure, with monitoring for your boating equipment to ensure peace of mind.

This unit is perfect for lively boys!
It features a spacious braai and entertainment area, along with five beds in a bachelor pad-style layout. There are two toilets and showers, plus an extra room for the snorer. The unit also includes a comfortable lounge suite and dining suite. Enjoy a lovely, tranquil garden and enclosed parking that can accommodate plenty of cars and boats. It's an ideal spot for fishing groups or bachelor/bachelorette parties.
Riverbend
Riverbend boats it's on built on stoop with thatched roof and on-site bathroom.
This unit is fully equipped and the only chalet with aircon. It faces the river and the dam can be seen from garden area but no full frontal view of dam. This is the right place for the quiet couple that don't want too much interaction with the rest of the world.
