Roux’s Place is a warm, welcoming home on the Marina—filled with heartfelt memories and the perfect spot for a holiday or peaceful getaway.

Built in 2003, the house was originally a cherished family gathering place at Ouma and Oupa’s home.

It is now lovingly named Roux’s Place in memory of Ouma, Oupa, and our son Roux.

This well-equipped 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests.

It features an open-plan kitchen, a TV and indoor braai area, and a spacious stoep where you can enjoy sunsets and beautiful water views.

The house includes Wi-Fi, Netflix, and DStv.

Water tanks are available for emergencies—please use water sparingly as the area is water-scarce.

A small inverter is provided for essential appliances during power outages.

Nestled in a quiet cove on the Marina, the home offers a safe, secluded environment with a large bay perfect for swimming, tanning, or relaxing.

The house is located on a closed circular road, making it extremely safe for families with small children.

It sits just 20 metres from the canal and 100 metres from the main gate.

The beach is only a 300-metre walk from the house, where you’ll find two beachfront restaurants—Walskipper and Tapas—both offering sand-floor dining and great play areas for children on the dunes and shoreline.

Just before the main gate, about 200 metres away, is Nina’s Restaurant, which features a large children’s play area and a small beach with a lifeguard during peak season.

It’s the perfect place to enjoy a meal while the kids have fun. Adjacent to Nina’s is a Waterpark with activities for all ages.

Within the Marina, roughly 400 metres from the house, is an outdoor gym, ideal for staying active during your stay.

The Marina is secure, making running, walking, and cycling safe daily activities.

Only 2 km from the Marina is Aston Bay Beach, which offers lifeguards in season and a wide, flat shoreline perfect for swimming and family fun.

Crossing the Seekoei River into Paradise Beach, you’ll discover beautiful scenery and tranquil nature spots.

During peak season, you can also enjoy paragliding, surf lessons, and helicopter rides in the area.

Jeffreys Bay Main Beach is approximately 4 km from the house and offers a wide variety of seasonal activities and entertainment.

RULES AND OTHER THINGS

Present your marina gate code and drivers licence to the security.

The geysers can be switched on inside the garage.

Please use water sparingly.

The house is on solar, so use electricity mindfully at night.

Please lock the house every time you leave.

The TV has Netflix and DSTV now.

The canals are safe to swim in, so bring water shoes for your own comfort.

Bring your own beach Towels, no bath towels are allowed outside the property.

The GARAGE DOORS cannot open. please don’t try to.
