De Kuile Tented Camp – Rustic Glamping
Our four safari tents provide a glamping experience with limited solar electricity, free WiFi, and communal kitchen and ablution facilities. Experience the beauty of the Klein Karoo while still enjoying comfort and convenience.
De Kuile Campsite – Almost Wild Camping

Ouberg Private Nature Reserve covers approximately 1000 hectares at the confluence of three South African biomes: Succulent Karoo, Fynbos, and Albany Thicket.

History of Ouberg
Ouberg was once part of the larger Rietkuil Farm, with evidence of use by early herders and hunter-gatherers, likely the Khoikhoi people.
The original farmhouse, Sandouw, built around 1880, was renovated by the Gie family, who now use this area as a serene escape from city life. Today, the farm is a harmonious blend of history, wildlife, and pristine landscapes, offering visitors a chance to experience the Klein Karoo as it has existed for centuries.
