Nestled in the heart of the scenic Loskop Valley near Groblersdal, Limpopo, South Africa, Maroela is a beautiful game farm lovingly owned and managed by the Basson family. Operated by qualified Nature Conservationist Michael Basson, Maroela offers guests a unique countryside escape where nature, comfort, and unforgettable experiences come together.

Surrounded by breathtaking bushveld landscapes, Maroela is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including Giraffe, Eland, Oryx, Kudu, Nyala, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Impala, Hartebeest, Ostrich, Warthog, and even our occasional Leopard sightings, creating a truly authentic bushveld experience.

To complete the Maroela experience, we proudly introduced Maroela Pub & Grill, a welcoming restaurant designed to cater to everyone.

Join us for delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, while also enjoying a lively atmosphere filled with memorable events and celebrations. Our bar boasts one of the widest varieties of drinks, ensuring there is something for every guest to enjoy.

Boma & Outdoor Seating

Relax under our beautiful and iconic Maroela tree, which holds a very special place in our hearts. In fact, the entire restaurant was thoughtfully built around the tree’s exact position, making it the heart of our venue and a unique feature of the Maroela experience.

Events & Functions Venue

Our spacious venue hall can accommodate approximately 220 guests, making it the ideal setting for all types of events and special occasions.

The venue is fully equipped with:

Guests are welcome to use their own décor when booking, or alternatively, décor can be rented directly from Maroela Pub & Grill.

Jasiri Luxury Tented Camp

Luxurious Outdoor Tents

Experience the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and luxury at our Jasiri Luxury Tented Camp.

Accommodation Features:

12 luxurious 4-sleeper tents, each consisting of:

• 1 double bed
• 2 single beds
• Private bathroom with toilet and shower
• Thatched roof
• Overhead fan

Each of the 12 units is uniquely named after non-indigenous species:

Gerenuk, Chamois, Addax, Pronghorn, Scimitar, Bongo, Tahr, Saiga, Tibetan Antelope, Wapiti Elk, Black Buck, and Okapi.

The Bongo Boma

Designed with rich South African tradition in mind, the Bongo Boma offers guests the perfect place to gather around the campfire, enjoy a glass of wine or brandy, braai vleis, and soak in the outdoor atmosphere.

The Bongo Boma is beautifully situated around a large swimming pool, creating the ultimate setting for relaxation.

Thomson’s Gazelle Lapa

The Thomson’s Gazelle Lapa can accommodate approximately 80 guests for dining and events.

It features:

• A fully equipped kitchen
• Fully stocked bar
• Separate toilet facilities
• Fireplace for guests who prefer a more sheltered setting
• 3 televisions with full DSTV access

Dining & Self-Catering

The Jasiri Luxury Tent Camp offers self-catering facilities, but guests are not limited to self-catering.

Our restaurant operates 6 days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday, for overnight guests.

Please check restaurant trading hours at reception upon check-in.

Private Functions at Jasiri

Private functions can be booked separately from accommodation, meaning guests do not need to stay overnight to host an event at the camp.

Hunter’s Cabin

The Hunter’s Cabin can accommodate up to 12 guests.
